Zaheer A. Shah, MD

Dr. Shah is an alumnus of the Indiana University School of Medicine as well as a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Brown University where he was named “Intern of the Year” (1996), “Resident of the Year” (1997). After completing his internal medicine residency, he was asked to serve an additional year as Chief Medical Resident at the Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Shah has been taking care of patients in the private practice setting for 24 years. He is a firm believer in the collaborative model of healing where the patient is empowered through education and dialogue and expected to make her own medical decisions but with the benefit of a caring, informed medical expert acting as a collaborator.
